I'm a designer with 3 years of experience working as an Associate Narrative Tech Designer on God of War: Ragnarok at Santa Monica Studio. I'm currently looking for work in Narrative, Quest Design, or Level Design specifically, but I'm also open to other design jobs.

PROJECTS

I designed two levels for a VR platforming game.
The first level was designed to teach the base mechanics of the game.
The second introduced a variant on the gameplay that was explored as the central element of the level.

For each level I made paper designs, whiteboxed, tested, worked with artists, created asset lists, and implemented art assets.

A card game I designed players play pirates vying for control of a ship. I used the game Coup as a framework for the mechanics and made changes around the pirate theme.

I organized playtests, gathered feedback, and kept up design documentation as I improved the game.
A narrative set piece moment I had design ownership of, involving multiple characters and locations, animation implementation and event scripting. Designed with instruction from Game Director and Narrative Directors.
Designed as a Point of Interest for Fortnite. It is crowded downtown area with various ranges for engagement. I was inspired by Downtown Mountain View, where I used to work at a coffee shop.
An AR game where you place a house that you will haunt. To haunt the house "poke" the inhabitants and scare them away. The goal is to use the fewest moves, bouncing them off of furniture, and collecting items on the way.
A game about using a heavy burden as a tool. The primary purpose of working on this was to learn teaching a mechanic through level design
